In his Audi R18 e-tron Slot.it has created a 4WD system that is truly unique and innovative. Traditional slot car with four-wheel drive, having no differences invariably is shorter maximum speed and difficult to handle. Slot.it in the system, provides a toothed belt power to front micro through two pulleys which are coupled to the left wheels. Here, the work of two bearings one-way (unidirectional bearings) mounted between the front wheels and the front axle, only enables transmission of positive torque, eliminating any braking torque, so that the model, while Real 4WD traction preserves, maintains its full speed on the straights and handled as it should when turning.
This car reproduces the test model n.4 pre-Le Mans in 2013, led by M. Bonanomi. Comes with long tail that was chosen by Audi for the 2013 campaign success of Le Mans.
