Built and designed by Eric Broadley, using an aerodynamic created in 1981 by Max Sardou and inspired by the new rules created for future Group C was the first prototype used the ground effect on its monocoque chassis. Had a made of carbon fiber composites and went to the World Manufacturers Championship, where two wins, proclaiming in the US IMSA champion Brian Redman that year structure. Was originally equipped with a Ford Cosworth DFV engine 3.3L and 500 hp, but also used Chevrolet V8 engine, Porsche and BMW in the course of time.
