Reference C3898A Perhaps the most special event in the classic sports calendar of the United Kingdom, the Goodwood Revival, offers the opportunity to go back in time. Scalextric is celebrating this special moment with a Limited Edition Twin Pack (C3898A). Using the new and popular Jaguar E-Type tools, we are remembering the 1963 Sussex Trophy that faced a great British car with the power of the Italian horse. The 1963 Sussex Trophy saw one of the most iconic titan GT battles that has ever taken place at Goodwood during its heyday in the early 1960s. The race pitted some of the most beautiful and desirable cars ever made. Representing rampant rookie Mike Parkes he drove a Ferrari 250GTO, lining up against the lightweight E-Types of Graham Hill and Roy Salvadori. In front of the crowded grandstands, the big cars of class GT +2.5 rigian. The two E-Types fought hard with the 250 GTO. Finally, it was Graham Hill who got the victory, winning for Ferrari and Jaguar in the same year. Mike Parkes was third, with the other lightweight E-Type. The first and third results were a great achievement for the E-Type, with the Ferrari starting the races as favorites, having been a class winner in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. However, here it was surpassed by the best GT Sports of Great Britain. The E-Type racing has been, and still is, stunningly beautiful and incredibly fast.
